March 13, 2026
Building Update: We’re Almost Home!
It has been an incredibly busy and productive week on-site. The biggest news? Final building inspections are complete, and we have been cleared to begin moving in! Our transition into the new space is officially underway.
Here is a look at what was accomplished this past week and what is on the horizon:
What’s Been Finished (Last 7 Days)
The Big Move: We’ve already started moving a significant amount of our items into the building.
Final Touches: Exterior painting, carpet installation, and building sealants are all 100% complete.
Stage Upgrades: We adjusted the stage to include a new step; the demo and reconstruction are finished, and the carpet is already installed.
Site Work: The sidewalk to Royal Mill is poured, the curb on N. White is done, and the building has been power-washed and "rough cleaned."
Mechanicals: All Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) final inspections are finished, and our new site lighting plans were approved by the town.
Parking & Paths: The parking lot has been compacted and "proof rolled" to ensure it’s solid. The walking paths are graded and ready for asphalt.
What’s Happening Next (The Week Ahead)
We are entering the "polishing" phase as we prepare for our full opening:
Paving the Way: Expect to see asphalt, striping, and the completion of the driveway and sidewalks.
Final Inspections: We will be undergoing TCO (Temporary Certificate of Occupancy) inspections and conducting a final "punch walk" with the architects and contractors on Monday to ensure every detail is perfect.
Safety & Details: Work continues on the dumpster gates, exterior fencing, bike racks, and the final handrails for the stage.
Beautification: Landscaping will continue throughout the week to get our grounds looking their best.

We are Move-In Ready! 🎊
We are thrilled to share some monumental news regarding our building project. This past week, we officially passed our final building inspections and have been cleared for move-in!
While we still have some "finishing touches" happening on the grounds, the core of our new home is ready for us. Here is the latest from the construction site:
Where We Stand
Inspections: We have officially passed final Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical inspections.
The Interior: Painting is 100% complete, and the carpet is 90% installed. We are currently finishing up new handrails and a redesigned stage step to ensure our sanctuary is perfect.
The Exterior: Stormwater work on N. White is finished, and exterior painting is nearly done (95%). New site lighting plans have been submitted to the town to ensure our campus is bright and safe.
🚨 Important Notice: Parking Lot Access
As we prepare for paving, PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE IN THE PARKING LOT THIS WEEKEND. Final grading for the asphalt is currently underway. To ensure a smooth, lasting surface, we need the lot to remain completely clear of vehicle traffic until the paving and striping are finished.

The Last 7 Days
We’ve seen a flurry of activity both inside and out. Most notably, we have passed our final electrical and interior plumbing inspections!
The Finishing Touches: The sanctuary ceiling grid is now complete, and our new sanctuary carpet is 90% installed. Interior painting is moving fast (75%), and the drywall "point up" is finished, giving the walls a smooth, professional look.
Systems Ready: Both electrical and mechanical "trim out" (the installation of fixtures, outlets, and vents) are 100% complete.
Exterior Progress: We’ve begun final grading on the south side of the property. Exterior painting is nearly finished (85%), and work on the storm water systems is complete. No more rock!
The Week Ahead
As we look toward the first week of March, our focus shifts to the final "sign-offs" and the last of the hardware.
Inspections: Final mechanical inspections are scheduled for today (Feb 27). Once those are cleared, we will begin the final building inspections.
Interior Details: We will continue installing doors, hardware, handrails, and finishing the remaining flooring and paint.
Site Work: Over the next week, you’ll see progress on our site lighting, fencing, and the installation of the dumpster gates.
Feb. 20, 2026
The Lord has answered so many prayers! The junction box is in place and there was no rock under White Street making placing the pipe to go smoothly! Also, Wake Electric was able to get started with placing the site lighting. The exterior paint is almost complete. Continue to pray for good weather to place the curb and asphalt and landscaping in soon. Pray also as the final touches are put in the inside of the building and for final inspections.
Last 7 Days: Milestone Achievements
Finished: Drywall, LVP flooring, Plumbing trim, EFIS, Ceiling tiles, and Restroom partitions are 100% complete.
Closing In: Sanctuary ceiling (98%) and Electrical wall trim (95%) are essentially done.
Active Exterior: Exterior painting (85%) and South side grading (75%) are moving well despite weather.
Next 7 Days: The Final Push
Interior Finish: Focus on completing remaining Paint (75%), Mechanical trim (75%), and Doors/Hardware (60%).
Site Work: Priority on Storm water installation and Site lighting.
The Big Goal: Transitioning into Final Inspections.
