Tyler grew up in rural south GA, but he would call Japan his home country having served and lived there with the air force for 5 years. There Tyler had the privilege of meeting his wonderful wife, Jacqueline, while they served together in Texas and Japan. They have 4 beautiful children: Asher (6), Emory (5), Finnley (2) and their newest addition Cameron.
Tyler's heart was transformed in the winter of 2013. He developed a passion and yearning for ministry and serving both overseas and the local church, working day in and day out with people who lived apart from knowing Jesus Christ. He and his wife left military service in 2018 to pursue vocational ministry.
Tyler's journey in ministry began after graduating from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he obtained a degree in Pastoral Ministry. Throughout his career, Tyler has always had a deep desire to see the Great Commission fulfilled. Tyler and his family worked with a missions organization called Cadence International, serving military members in Germany. Even as they left the mission field, their hearts remained open to new opportunities to serve and support missionaries and the church in fulfilling the Great Commission. With previous experience as a missionary abroad, Tyler is eager to make a significant impact in his new role as the part-time Director of Outreach.
